Ask Away

Speak Up
The important thing isn’t where you are, it’s the state of mind you’re in.

Once upon a starry night

tumblrbot asked: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE INANIMATE OBJECT?

It has to be the T.V. when it’s playing my favourite cartoon/animation. lol ;D

It was a special day yesterday

Sometimes it’s pretty hard to decide what to buy. Dazzling diamonds and sophisticated pearls all around. I named my budget, and various options were presented. Tea was served.

I focussed mainly on necklaces, either those white gold pendants or the ones with pearls. Kiv-ed afew, but they barely made the mark. They just didn’t look presentable enough, the white gold pendants were too petit for my taste, but the pearl ones were rather awful. I finally settled on one with a unique design with a mixture of rose gold and white gold entwined together. The lady at the counter went off to pack and I had time to finish my tea.

In the meantime, something caught my eyes. A pearl necklace and earrings set, having matching designs of pearls with white and rose gold entwined around it. The pearl necklace had a gigantic pearl, and superbly round it was. Sparks flew when my vision was laid upon it. Love at first sight, definitely. Without second thought I changed my purchase for this, although the price was way above budget, and a tad bit expensive considering my situation now. Nevertheless, that was the feeling I need, an impulse that this should be hers, a confirmation that this will bring a smile.

Indeed. Amidst all the usual “don’t want any present” and “save your money” talk, there was a big, wide grin. The sweet kind that warms a heart and makes one fuzzy all over.

It was a special day yesterday, for her and for me.

The smile was priceless. :)

Alone

I feel alone

living life like a crone.

I feel alone

with no chaperone.

I feel alone

feeding on bones.

I feel alone

all, all alone.

I had a dream the night before yesterday’s.

In the dream I dreamt of someone telling me 4-digits. It was a very vivid dream. He/She said last week 1818 was drawn, this week it’ll be 1854. Coincidentally it was a juggled form of my dad’s car plate number. In the end, 2 other juggled forms came out, one starter prize, the other 3rd prize. But it was a busy day, with guest and outings. We forgot to buy.

The cats are fighting,
under the gentle moonlight.
Not very bright.
— Another haiku attempt. Inspiration came from a sleepless night yesterday and the shrieks of my neighbour’s cat(s).
A cruel joke,
You played on me.
Once stabbed my heart,
Now gone with the wind.
